INFORMATION TEXT REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA OF JOB APPLICANTS
Data Controller: The purpose of this “Information Text Regarding the Processing of Personal Data of Job Applicants” (“Information Text”) is to inform you, within the framework of our obligation to enlighten under Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“Law”), about the methods of collecting your personal data, the purposes of processing, the legal reasons, to whom and for what purposes your processed personal data may be transferred, and your rights.
Methods of Processing Personal Data and Legal Reasons: Your personal data is collected within the scope of our recruitment processes through the methods/channels listed below, automatically or non-automatically, in accordance with Article 5 of the Law, for the purposes of fulfilling our legal obligations and establishing a working relationship with you, job applicants.
- Through other institutions, organizations, or individuals professionally mediating job applications and employment, or through other institutions, organizations, or individuals referring you who are not professionally engaged in this business,
- Via the email address on our company website and the “Application Forms” section,
- Through applications made to OSB (Organized Industrial Zone) or İŞKUR (Turkish Employment Agency), channels that allow the collection and processing of personal data of job applicants, and notes taken during job interviews.
Purposes of Processing Personal Data: Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- Conducting job applicant application, selection, placement, and employment processes,
- Evaluating suitability for the requested position and establishing a business relationship,
- Planning and executing company human resources policies and processes,
- Ensuring the compliance of company activities with relevant legislation and company policies/procedures,
- Carrying out necessary operational activities by company units and ensuring the security of company operations,
- Communicating with job applicants regarding recruitment processes,
- Evaluating job applicants for potential future positions in case of a negative outcome of a job interview,
- Responding to official requests or communication issues, among other purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law, and processed within the necessary maximum and legal retention periods.
Transfer of Personal Data to Third Parties: Your personal data can be transferred to the following third parties within the framework of the transfer conditions specified in Article 8 of the Law for the stated purposes:
- Individuals specified as references for the confirmation of the information you provided,
- Third parties providing support in storage, archiving, information technology support (server, hosting), security, etc.,
- Authorized institutions and organizations to fulfill legal or regulatory obligations or requests and other relevant parties for whom the transfer is necessary, only to the extent relevant to the process.
Your Rights: In accordance with Article 11 of the Law, as the data subject, you have the right to:
- Learn whether personal data is being processed,
- Request information if personal data has been processed,
- Learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
- Learn third parties to whom personal data is transferred, domestically or abroad,
- Request correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed and request notification of this correction to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred,
- Object to the emergence of a result against you by exclusively analyzing the processed data through automated systems,
- Demand compensation for damages in case of suffering damage due to the unlawful processing of personal data.
You can submit your application, which includes the above requests, to the Data Controller by preparing it in accordance with the “Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures for Application to the Data Controller.” Please confirm the current application methods before submitting your application, in accordance with the legislation.
